Job Title : CDN Control Plane Engineer

Experience Level : Senior (70% focus on Functional Design)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced CDN Control Plane Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a homogenous configuration platform across multiple CDN providers. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional design experience, with strong knowledge of CDN platforms and networking infrastructure, complemented by automation and development expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead functional design for CDN configuration across providers like Cloudflare, Akamai, and F5.
Develop and maintain a unified configuration platform / DSL for CDN management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and resilient configurations.
Implement automation to streamline CDN deployment and change management processes.
Provide networking expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing.
Contribute to continuous improvements in CDN performance and reliability.

Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in CDN configuration and functional design.

Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, and F5 .

Strong networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing).

Familiarity with NetScout or Arbor for network monitoring and DDoS protection.

Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
