Community Partnerships and Development Coordinator

Posting details and summary are provided by the employer. This position is a full-time faculty-administrative role within the College of Dental Medicine.

Overview

The Coordinator for Community Partnerships and Development for the College of Dental Medicine (CDM) primarily supports and manages administrative duties related to Community Based Dental Education. This position is in conjunction with a faculty position (full-time combined appointment : 1.0 FTE / 5 days per week) with a faculty appointment (PCN F03168) and an administrative role (PCN A03381). The salary range listed represents total compensation for the combined responsibilities; refer to the corresponding posting under Administration jobs for details on the additional assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage administrative duties related to Community Based Dental Education.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Recognized knowledge and experience in the area of expertise.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to interact in an effective and positive manner with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including administration, faculty, students, staff, and outside contacts.
  • Ability to effectively conduct detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in an academic environment.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Education : Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
  • Licenses : Current dental license in California.
  • Experience : Experience in FQHC and FQHC-look alike or similar clinic; Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience : Background in public health and community dentistry.
  • Bilingual : Spanish / English or Chinese / English.
