HVAC Facilities Mechanical Technician - 1st Shift (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM)

Description

Primary Duties to include but not limited to :

• Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• Perform maintenance in all facility areas including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems
• Light maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles to include cars, vans, trucks, lifts, floor machines, tractors, etc.
• Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving problems with HVAC systems, often requiring knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly inspection of building systems. Emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, fire systems and any systems as directed by Facilities Supervisor.
• Operate scissor lift and boom lifts. Work at ceiling heights running facility cabling, wiring and camera installations.
• Perform landscaping and snow removal.
• Operate and test facility generators and fire pumps
• Occasional operation of forklifts to support the material handling of used cardboard, pallets, and other recyclables as directed by Facilities Lead or Manager
• Occasional support of cleaning and maintaining all Schluter facility areas including restrooms and outdoor areas as directed by Facilities Lead or Manager as required..
