JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Pharmacy Leader, you are essential in ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy practice while adhering to state and federal laws, as well as corporate policies. You will play a crucial role in managing the financial performance of the pharmacy, including budget monitoring, staff training, customer service excellence, prescription pricing, and inventory control. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all staff pharmacist functions and serve as a role model for the pharmacy team; efficiently handle customer complaints and manage workflow to minimize wait times.
- Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives in line with the division pharmacy department’s strategy.
- Fulfill all legal and company requirements pertaining to registered pharmacists.
- Guide the pharmacy team to optimize warehouse utilization, manage overstock, reduce fill on-arrival prescriptions, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to corporate controlled substance operating procedures.
- Monitor third-party profitability and address issues, rejections, and audits promptly.
- Schedule pharmacy staff to effectively manage labor costs.
- Maintain all pharmacy records as mandated by state and federal laws and company policies.
- Lead the pharmacy in achieving labor, volume, inventory, and sales budgets.
- Conduct effective detailing visits to local physicians and community targets.
- Participate in public health initiatives and disease management services.
- Travel independently as needed to meet business requirements.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, providing performance reviews and constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. pharmacy school.2+ years of relevant retail experience or a combination of education and experience.Minimum 21 years of age.Engagement in clinical programs following company-sponsored training.Commitment to continuing education as necessary.Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.Strong customer service orientation.Proficient in writing reports and correspondence.Capability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.Demonstrated leadership skills.License must be in good standing.Desired
Relevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s).Experience or education in business management.ABOUT US
