The Part-Time Respiratory Therapist candidate will be a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) who performs in the acute and general medical floors of the hospital.
The RCP will perform in the Adult Critical Care setting as well as general med-surge units. The RCP will be able to float to the Sub-Acute unit when needed.
Training will be provided via a senior RCP and when training is complete, the RCP is encouraged to function as assigned in the specialty and sub-specialty areas in which they have been trained and deemed competent.
Job Qualifications :
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care facility.
- State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
Possess Strong Clinical and Critical Care Skills with Emphasis on Providing Quality Patient Care
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Required to work every-other weekends.
- Variable schedule as needed including night shift if needed.
