Job Title : Assistant Superintendent - Ground-Up Residential Construction

Salary Range : $80,000 - $115,000

About the Role :

A highly regarded general contractor specializing in high-rise residential construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on a ground-up residential project in Manhattan . This is a strong opportunity for a rising construction professional to gain hands-on experience with complex urban builds in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Lead Superintendent with daily jobsite operations, scheduling, and logistics

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain productivity and safety

Interpret and enforce construction plans, specs, and scopes of work

Ensure jobsite safety by enforcing OSHA and company safety standards

Maintain daily reports, site photos, logs, and assist with Procore documentation

Support the management of inspections, RFIs, submittals, and quality control

Participate in walkthroughs, punch lists, and close-out documentation

Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in ground-up residential or commercial construction

Previous experience on multifamily or high-rise projects in urban environments preferred

Familiarity with concrete, structural steel, and envelope coordination

OSHA 30 certification (current or within last 3 years)

Proficient with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office

Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills

Must pass a drug screening following conditional offer of employment
