Job description
A company is looking for an Outpatient Coding Compliance Coordinator (remote).
Key Responsibilities
Assist coders and documentation management staff with complex patient care cases by analyzing documentation and discussing correct code assignment
Review medical records flagged for coding errors and identify opportunities for education
Serve as a technical expert for staff and external customers regarding coding standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
University Degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for education)
Certifications : RHIA, RHIT, CCS
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Health Information Management program is preferred
