Contract Email Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Contract Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in Miami. This is a crucial 3-month (or longer) contract role focused on the tactical execution, optimization, and reporting of complex email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys.
The ideal candidate must be an expert in at least one enterprise-level Marketing Automation Platform and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Management
Own the end-to-end execution of marketing, transactional, and promotional email campaigns, including template building, list segmentation, QA, and deployment.
Implement and manage complex automated workflows and drip campaigns (e.g., welcome series, lead nurturing, retention, and win-back) within the required marketing automation platform.
Conduct meticulous quality assurance (QA) checks on all campaigns, ensuring accuracy in content, links, personalization, segmentation logic, and proper rendering across all major email clients and mobile devices.
Ensure all email communications adhere to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other global data privacy regulations.
Optimization & Strategy
Design and execute rigorous A / B and multivariate tests on subject lines, body copy, creative elements, timing, and segmentation to continuously improve key metrics (Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Deliverability).
Utilize data to perform audience segmentation and list hygiene, managing data extensions, suppression lists, and subscriber preferences.
Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure email creative and copy are brand-aligned, compelling, and optimized for engagement.
Reporting & Analytics
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance, compiling reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to refine the email marketing strategy and maximize ROI.
Assist in troubleshooting deliverability issues and technical integration errors as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on, end-to-end experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or CRM-focused roles.
Mandatory Technical Expertise : Proven, in-depth experience with one or more of the following enterprise Marketing Automation Platforms (MAPs) :
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) (Preferred : experience with Journey Builder, Data Extensions, and basic SQL / Ampscript).
Marketo (Preferred : experience with lead scoring, lifecycle programs, and smart campaigns).
HubSpot (Preferred : experience with custom reporting, automation workflows, and CRM integration).
Braze (Preferred : experience with Canvas, Content Blocks, and sophisticated personalization).
Proficiency in basic HTML / CSS for email template modification and troubleshooting responsive design issues.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously.
Contract and Hybrid Requirements
Ability to work a hybrid schedule : 3 days onsite (in Miami, FL) and 2 days remote.
Willingness to commit to a 3+ month contract duration with potential for extension.
