Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 17 or 21 and modern development tools.

8+ years of professional software development experience in Java

Proficient in Java 17 or 21, with solid knowledge of OOP and functional programming paradigms

Strong understanding of XML, JSON, and related parsing / serialization techniques

Comfortable working in IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code with AI code assist tools like GitHub Copilot

Solid experience with Git / Bitbucket for source control

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar messaging middleware

Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2), including query optimization and stored procedures

Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, using tools like Jira

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience writing clear technical documentation

Preferred Qualification

Knowledge of Payments systems or financial services domain

Familiarity with ISO 20022 payments messaging standards

Experience with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and testing frameworks

Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices design
