Associate Attorney – Corporate & Tax

Location : Pasadena, CA or El Segundo, CA (remote work option available)

Direct Counsel is representing a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Corporate & Tax Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This firm offers an aggressive pay structure with flexible billable hour expectations and an excellent opportunity for career growth.

Position Overview :

The firm is conducting a passive search for a highly skilled attorney with 4+ years of corporate law experience to support and lead business transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience handling :

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Business transactions (sales, purchase agreements, etc.)

Partnership, ownership, and equity agreements

This role involves working closely with the Corporate & Tax Team, led by the Firm’s Managing Partner , and leading matters originated by the team. The firm seeks an attorney capable of billing 1,800+ hours per year while maintaining a flexible and sustainable workload.

Key Requirements :

4+ years of corporate law experience

Strong background in business transactions, M&A, and partnership / equity agreements

Ability to take ownership of matters and lead transactions

Licensed to practice law in California
