SMS Staffing is hiring IMMEDIATELY for Warehouse Operator in the North Chicago area. If you are looking for growth in the nations #1 medical assembly organization then look no further!
COMPENSATION : $19 per hour
1st shift only. Monday - Friday. 40 hours per week. Overtime hours as needed.
Duties / responsibilities :
- Perform warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock.
- Performs warehouse operations on the receiving dock, picks orders, packs orders and / or helps with dock processing and incoming / outgoing shipments.
- Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
- Counting stock, maintaining, and keeping inventory records.
- Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock as well as keeping records and documentation on damages.
- Lift occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Forklift experience preferred
