Responsibilities
- Represent clients in various litigation matters in state and federal courts.
- Research and analyse legal issues and case law to develop strategies.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, seeking optimal outcomes.
- Conduct depositions and hearings, presenting cases effectively.
- Manage case files, ensuring adherence to deadlines and legal requirements.
- Communicate with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and options.
Requirements
Previous experience in personal injury, or employment, or workers compensation is a must.Active license to practice law in the state where the firm operates.Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases effectively under pressure.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.Benefits
