Overview
Branch and field support Engineer / Systems Engineer - US. Technology|Infrastructure-Contact Center|end user computing and services, site support and executive support. Infosys is seeking Branch and field support Engineer . Candidate will be required to travel to different branches of the bank scattered across MN to support the end users with IT-related issues. Should drive. Candidate should monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Responsibilities
- Travel to different bank branches across MN to support end users with IT-related issues.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Hardware support : Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, monitors, docking stations).
- Software support : Installing, configuring, troubleshooting software.
- Printer support : Install and configure printers at branches and end points.
- Service management : Track, monitor, and update tickets using the ServiceNow ticketing tool.
- IMAC execution for all EUC hardware and software.
- EUC Asset Management : Inventory management and updates in ServiceNow CMDB.
- Knowledge of IMACD processes for network devices (routers, switches, access points, video conferences, phones) including physical changes and configuration support.
- Patch management and vulnerability management : Install security patches, configure access lists, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Network asset management : Inventory management and CMDB updates.
- Support end-user and end-device network issues and knowledge of end device port configuration.
- Travel required; valid driver may be necessary.
Qualifications
Candidate must be located within Fargo, ND or willing to relocate; travel in the US may be required.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent. Three years of progressive experience may be substituted for each year of education.Hands-on experience in EUC and Network support for bank branches.Hardware and software support experience for end-user devices and associated peripherals.Experience with ServiceNow ticketing tool and IT service management.Preferred Skills
Experience working with a remote team and team-building.Good communication and analytical skills.Experience in a global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
