About The Position

  • Position Description :
  • Stormont Vail Healthcare is seeking a full-time BC / BE Neonatologist to join a dedicated team of 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) in Topeka, Kansas. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU with an average daily census of 26 patients.
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care services, including :
  • High Frequency Ventilation (HFV)
  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO)
  • Total Body Cooling
  • Amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
  • Collaborate with subspecialists in Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology
  • Work within a strong, multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality neonatal care
  • Participate in patient coverage including call and weekend duties as scheduled
  • Enjoy practicing in a vibrant, affordable city near major university towns with excellent community and hospital support

Job Requirements

  • Requirements :
  • Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of fellowship) – Required
  • Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
  • DEA license – Required prior to start
  • Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
