Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our client's growing project team. This role will report directly to the Capital Regional Engineering Manager and will support mining and minerals operations across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. This is a long term position.

The Construction Manager will lead construction execution for capital projects, with direct responsibility for safety, cost, productivity, schedule, and quality. Serving as the construction lead and acting as the Owner's Representative, this role is key to ensuring successful delivery of the construction phase and provides a competitive advantage in project execution.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Pre-Construction and Planning :

• Provide strategic and technical input during Front-End Loading and Detailed Design.
• Develop and manage Safety Plans and MI-QA Plans; validate execution.
• Participate in engineering / design reviews.
• Develop contracting strategies; qualify and manage contractor performance.
• Lead constructability reviews; identify cost-effective construction technologies.
• Contribute to schedule and budget development and validation.
• Guide material and equipment selection to align with business goals and cost targets, leveraging deep technical expertise.
• Lead construction planning and progress tracking; apply LEAN concepts to improve field productivity.
• Provide input on rigging and equipment requirements.
• Support commissioning and checkout planning and execution.
• Conduct site assessments and contribute to continuous improvement.
