PESCM, located in San Rafael, is the only 24 / 7 veterinary hospital in Marin County, with specialties in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Urgent Care, Emergency, Radiology and Critical Care. About the Job : As a Client Service Coordinator in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for client service as your top priority, including but not limited to :

• Welcome & triage our emergency clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
• Serve as the liaison between clients and the emergency medical team, relaying vital information about medical histories, concerns and questions
• Keeping emergency clients informed of their pet's journey from start to finish, from initial emergency wait times, to assessing if patient is stable or critical and where they fall in our ever-changing line-up of patients, to creating and delivering estimates, collecting deposits, finalizing invoices, preparing medications and supplies for discharge, delivering discharge information as appropriate
• Prepare and review medical records accurately and completely
• Educate and advise clients regarding PESCM's services and practices
• Process invoices and payments accurately
• Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and emailing
• Assist with front desk coverage as needed

About you

Schedule : Tuesday through Friday, 2 : 00pm - 12 : 30am

Salary : $25.00 - $28.00 an hour, based off experience
