The Boeing Company's North Charleston training organization has an exciting opportunity for Mid-Level Employee Development Specialists to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish learning objectives

Deliver course content in a classroom environment

Perform as an instructor in a specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of Aerospace Skills expertise : Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, etc.

Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching, observing, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conduct preparation, delivery and rostering of training to satisfy training requirement

Conduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques, and recommend changes to learning programs, courses, presentations and guides

Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training provided

Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policies

Perform individual and group assessments, and recommend process and performance improvements

Conduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions to qualify additional instructors

Understand regulations and standards, ensure delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications

Position requires working with chemicals such as Alodine, MPK, IPA, various seals, etc.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

Effective communication skills

1+ years of experience in a classroom teaching environment

1+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions

1+ years of experience presenting to large groups

1+ years of aircraft manufacturing or manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

3+ years of experience in classroom instruction

3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and / or manufacturing support

Lean Certification(s)

Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or other systems

Experience in the following areas : Electrician / Structure / Wing / Spar Assembly

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $76,500-$103,500
