Are you a Janitor / Housekeeper looking for a new opportunity?

In this position, you will execute all janitorial duties, including and limited to assisting patients and delivering meals to patients, and customer service.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM rotating weekends, must have flexibility

Location : Richmond, VA

Pay Rate : $16.50 / hr

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

• Utilize various equipment such as high duster, vacuum, mop, spray bottles, floor polisher, linen carts, and trash carts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
• Assisting patients and delivering food when needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas, ensuring compliance with waste management protocols and safety regulations.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to maintain hygienic conditions for occupants.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations and efficient workflow.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in performing assigned tasks and responding to changing priorities or emergent cleaning needs within the facility.

Requirements :

• Exposure to Blood and Body Fluids : Willingness and capability to handle situations involving exposure or potential exposure to blood and body fluids as required in the course of janitorial duties.
• Chemical Handling : Experience or familiarity with handling cleaning solvents and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to proper protocols and safety guidelines.
• Attention to Detail : Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail while performing cleaning tasks to ensure thoroughness and high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Time Management : Proficiency in managing time effectively to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and complete assigned duties within designated timeframes.
• Customer Service Orientation : Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients.
