Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional  BE / BC Radiation Oncologist  to join our growing practice at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Our established practice includes 1 Radiation Oncologist, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 Physicist, 5 Radiation Therapists, 2 RNs for the clinic, 2 Med Office Assistants, and a Clinic Supervisor
• Due to consistently high volumes (30-40 patients daily) we are seeking an additional Radiation Oncologist to support the continuous growth of our practice
• Variety of treatment options : SRS, SBRT, and IMRT
• HDR Brachytherapy available if interested, but not required for this position.
• Equipment includes : a new Varian Edge Radiosurgery Linear Accelerator, a Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerator, and a GE CT Sim located within the department
• ARIA radiation oncology record, MIM, and Eclipse planning system
• Participate in weekly disease specific Tumor Boards and opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
• Support Services include disease site specific RN navigators, oncology social workers, and an oncology dietitian
• Position open to candidates with experience and new graduates. Leadership opportunities available for experienced candidates. Mentorship available for new graduates.
• 1 : 2 call schedule
• Clinic conveniently located in the hospital.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $550,000 - $600,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
