JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Good computer skills (Avimark software) and the ability to use other office machines.
- Answer phones and take accurate messages. Be able to handle all types of high-volume phone calls. Relay information accurately to doctors and technicians.
- Utilizing the computer for emailing clients, getting prescription refills, lab results, patient records, etc.
- Be able to work in a paper-light hospital.
- Be able to Multi-task.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Make follow-up calls checking on the progress of patients.
- File medical records.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Be able to handle various forms of payment and reconcile deposits at end of the day.
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Assist technicians in the hospital area, if needed, after training.
- Have a positive attitude.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION :
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.MUST have at least one year of veterinary experience.Excellent computer skills.Excellent communication skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Be able to work with doctors and technicians in a team setting.Be able to prioritize and multitask.Compassion in difficult situations.Good customer service skills.Works well in a teamwork environment.HOURS :
Days, Evenings and every other Saturday.Hourly rate based on experience.Presently following Covid 19 protocols. We are doing curbside care as well as allowing clients into the hospital with strict guidelines.
