The Role
Lead day-to-day operations across patient care units. You'll coordinate staff, manage patient flow, coach teams, and solve problems in real time. You are also the on-shift ambassador for patients and guests, upholding clinical quality, service standards, and the hospital's policies.
Your Impact
- Keep units running smoothly across current and oncoming shifts.
- Elevate the patient experience through clear communication with families and care teams.
- Reinforce best practices with visible leadership and hourly rounding.
- Partner with the Nurse Manager on coaching, evaluations, and performance plans.
- Ensure care delivery aligns with the hospital's philosophy and objectives.
What You'll Lead
Staffing plans and nursing assignments.Throughput and bed placement to optimize patient flow.On-the-spot issue resolution and escalation when needed.Education for staff and families to support safe, consistent care.Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Active Florida RN license.BLS (current).ACLS, PALS, or NRP (as appropriate to unit) within 6 months of hire / promotion.Specialty certification (unit-relevant) within 2 years of hire / signing / promotion.Experience We're Seeking
2+ years of clinical RN experience in acute care (required).Cardiac or Neuro Stepdown experience (preferred).Pay & Incentives
