Business Development Manager
RTS Carrier Services, and Shamrock, are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our fuel sales team as a Business Development Manager. This position is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new accounts while expanding relationships with existing customers within an assigned region. In this role, you will take a consultative approach to selling RTS fuel card solutions, working directly with transportation companies to understand their needs and deliver value-driven products. You will oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing while collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success. This is a performance-based role with significant earning potential for those who consistently meet and exceed business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Source and develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
- Conduct consultative sales discussions to assess client needs and present tailored RTS fuel card solutions
- Negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable, mutually beneficial agreements
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with other RTS and Shamrock divisions to maximize account value
- Participate in strategic planning, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and penetration strategies
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market potential to inform sales strategies and product positioning
- Collaborate with product marketing to support launches, create sales tools, and deliver compelling presentations
- Track and analyze key metrics to measure performance and refine sales approaches
