A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work in 16-bed ICU / CCU unit with patient ratios of 2 : 1, occasionally 3 : 1
• 36 hours weekly scheduling requirement
• Float in rotation with core staffing
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Work with advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Documentation system : Meditech
• Perform procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and be self-motivated
• Dress code : scrubs any color, no denim, capris, or camo
• Unit staffed with medical technician, occasionally a tech depending on census
• Flexible scheduling with teamwork environment
