Job Title : Quality Inspector

Ramsey, NJ | $18 - $25 per hour | Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Job Summary

A world-leading manufacturer of high-performance components for the motorsport, aerospace, and defense industries is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team in Ramsey, NJ. As the guardian of our quality, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets rigorous safety and performance standards.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Perform detailed inspections and tests on machined, fabricated, and composite parts using precision measuring tools (metrology equipment).

Process and document components through all stages of production, from initial assembly to final dispatch.

Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities, test results, and non-conformance issues in our ERP system and Excel logs.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics to verify parts meet all required specifications.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Evaluate customer returns for potential repair or recertification.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications)

Required : A minimum of one year of experience in a quality control or relevant manufacturing role.

Required : Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics.

Required : Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).

A qualification or certificate in an engineering discipline is a plus.

Experience with ISO9001 quality systems is desirable but not required.

Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for 6–8 hours per day.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
