Job Description

Job Title : LVN / LPN

1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room

2 years of outpatient experience

License : Current LVN License

Certifications :

BLS (AHA or ARC only)

Flu vaccination (no exemptions or declinations)

IV certification

Must-Have :

Phlebotomy certification

Previous charge or lead experience

Experience with electronic medical record systems

Description :

This position requires a rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays.

The work hours for Monday to Friday are from 11 : 30 AM to 10 : 00 PM.

The work hours for Saturday and Sunday are from 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities include :

Performing shift lead duties.

Performing and recording quality control testing on designated equipment.

Scheduling nurse visits for phlebotomy, testing, or other procedures.

Administering immunizations, injections, or oral medications.

Drawing and preparing designated lab work or specimens for pickup.

Handling clinic care telephone interactions with provider input.

Covering Medical Assistant duties for absences, illnesses, and breaks.

Additional information :

This is an outpatient clinic environment.

The clinician should be flexible to meet facility needs.

Local candidates are accepted.

No requests for time off are allowed in the first two weeks of the assignment.

All relevant experience and qualifications must be included in professional submissions.
