Finance Attorney – Credit, Banking & Finance
Location : Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Time Type : Full-Time
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm in the search for an experienced Finance Attorney to join its Phoenix office. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney with a strong background in credit, banking, and finance to work on high-profile deals and client matters.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle lender and borrower-side financings , including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending.
Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, security agreements, and closing deliverables .
Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on various financing transactions (experience preferred).
Manage deal execution, client interaction, and ensure high-quality legal work throughout transaction lifecycle.
Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented, proactive environment to support complex transactions.
Qualifications :
6–12 years of experience in credit, banking, and finance law.
Strong experience in syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending .
Proven drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage deals independently.
Admitted, or eligible for admission, to the Arizona bar .
Strong academic background and ability to take on significant responsibility in deal management and client relations.
