As a Lead Project Electrical Engineer , you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating highly efficient design plans for building state-of-the-art passenger trains.

Key Activities

• Support the Technical Project Manager to achieve all customer technical requirements
• Own the responsibility to lead assigned sub-project tasks
• Effectively delegate, schedule, and monitor progress of all electrical engineering tasks on a project
• Creation of technical specifications, production documentation and testing protocols
• Coordinating supply chain for project related mock-ups internally as well as externally
• Create, review and release wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and other engineering documentation
• Consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible
• Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standards
• Ensure that all electrical hardware is designed correctly for proper mechanical installation
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) at suppliers' sites for assigned components
• Evaluate, manage and process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for assigned projects or sub-projects
