About Hansen & Assoc., Inc. : Hansen & Associates was founded in 1957 in Brigham City, Utah by Keith A. Hansen as a Civil Engineering – Surveying firm serving Utah and Idaho. In 1996 leadership and presidency of Hansen & Associates was transferred to K. Greg Hansen. Currently, Hansen & Associates employs 12 full time engineers, surveyors and support staff. Hansen & Associates offers a wide range of engineering and surveying services including city engineering for several communities in Northern Utah.

Position Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and Utah licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join our growing team out of our Brigham City, Utah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and management of complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion. This role is perfect for a strategic problem-solver who is committed to technical excellence, project delivery, and making a lasting impact on our community.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Design & Management :

Lead the design and planning of various civil engineering projects, including [e.g., grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, etc.].

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Use advanced design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.

Compliance & Technical Oversight :

Ensure all project designs comply with local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Perform complex calculations, analysis, and quality control reviews.

Prepare and seal engineering drawings and documents, taking professional responsibility for the work.

Collaboration & Communication :

Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and public agencies to secure project approvals.

Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.

Prepare and present reports, proposals, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.

Licensing : A current and active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of [Your State] is a must.

Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.

Skills :
