This is a unique opportunity to join our team at Pennsylvanias Outdoor Adventure Headquarters, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Inc.
The Hotel Service Supervisor coordinates and supervises the activities of the Hotel Service area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Supervises ramp area, transportation, concierge desk and procedures for tours, airport trips and condominium pick-up service.
- Receives requests for services from other departments and coordinates delivery of service.
- Maintains payroll records.
- Maintains records of gas purchases.
- Ensures proper billing of gas and transportation services.
- Receives mail, packages, messages or other articles for guests and arranges delivery of them.
- Oversees and coordinates deliveries of luggage and special items to individual rooms when requested.
- Ensures high safety standards for vehicles used are followed.
- Notifies maintenance when repairs are necessary on vehicles.
- Reports directly to the Hotel Operations Manager and therefore performs any other job requirements that are deemed necessary superiors.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises staff members in Hotel Service and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these unites.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining staff members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- General Computer Skills required
- Valid Drivers License, Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement.
- Excellent customer service skills
