Description

Martin / Martin, Inc. is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our Bentonville, Arkansas office. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with many different structural materials. This person will also represent the company in project meetings as well as develop rapport with and confidence in clients through effective communication and high-quality engineering work.

A typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits. This person will devise proven and, if necessary, innovative approaches to problems, and will manage and design projects through design and completion of construction. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and contractors along with opportunities for marketing activities. While many of our projects are located in Arkansas, Martin / Martin's national footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the country.

Examples Of Responsibilities :

• Coordinates our work with in-house teams and other firm's project teams
• Develops, monitors, and manages work plans, schedules, and design budgets
• Keeps clients satisfied and developing a skillset to address client management problems
• Coordinates internal administration tasks including communication with accounting team, document control, and project closeout
• Manages and mentors engineers and BIM technicians to complete projects
• Manages small to medium projects or portions of large projects
• Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors
• Participates in production and technical committees or other special projects to advance the company's goals
• Other duties as assigned
