Job description0–2 years of design or internship experience. A degree in fashion design preferred Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office. Basic knowledge of garment construction and fabrics. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Team player with good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
Our client, a fast growing apparel company, is looking for an Assistant Designer to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Assist design team with sketches, mood boards, and presentations.
- Help prepare and update tech packs and BOMs.
- Organize samples, trims, and fabric libraries.
- Support market research and competitive shopping.
- Track samples and communicate with vendors as needed.
