Debt Capital Markets Associate

Citizens is seeking an experienced Debt Capital Markets Associate to support the aligned industry team. Primary responsibilities include :

• Associate will work in the aligned industry team as part of our investment banking team on both business development and execution and should expect a wide variety of projects and as much responsibility as capabilities and experience allow.
• Clients include a broad variety of both public companies and family and sponsor owned private companies.
• Associates will work directly with senior bankers and client senior management teams throughout all phases of transaction development and execution.
• Prepare valuation materials for public and private companies utilizing various methodologies including comparable company, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout and precedent transaction analysis.
• Prepare financial models that include company specific projections as well as merger, internal rate of return and accretion / dilution analysis.
• Perform in-depth analysis of industries / market conditions and companies' competitive positioning.
• Contribute to the development of pitch materials and advice to clients.
• Conduct due diligence through management meetings, industry research and on-site inspections.
• Work with senior team members and management teams to develop marketing materials including deal teasers, confidential information memorandum and management presentations.
• Lead construction of data rooms for buyer diligence.
• Assist with legal documentation.
