Our Xome Team is looking for a Senior or Principal Software Development Engineer. Developers are highly technical individuals who are responsible for implementing software solutions to meet business needs.

The developer will collaborate with product management, and engineering teams across Xome and come up with optimal solutions, automation and efficiency, and high customer satisfaction.

Senior or Principal Engineers will also assist in architectural design and translation of business requirements into solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Developers own the source code, CI / CD pipeline, are responsible for implementing software solutions to business requirements.

Day-to-day duties involve designing software systems, writing code, building the CI / CD pipeline, and troubleshooting software bugs.

• Deep design and delivery experience of multi-tier products with web-based clients on the Microsoft C# / .NET / SQL Server technology stack.
• Design and build robust REST-based Web Services.
• Expert at designing, coding, and implementing with 24 / 7 stability, performance, and scalability requirements in mind.
• Design, develop and help launch next generation applications to solve complex problems in the real estate industry.
• Build and maintain unit and integration tests
• Perform peer review and ensure quality of deliverables
• Involved in executing performance testing and tuning for frontend and backend systems
• Manage and execute test suites and test cycles
• Lead engineering sprint ceremonies such as daily standup and sprint planning activities

Core Skills :

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, MIS or related equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in software development
• Strong development experience in C# Programming language and object-oriented programming.
• Proficient in service-oriented architecture.
• Experienced with Azure technology stack, particularly : Azure App Services, Azure Service Fabric.
• Familiarity with containerization or OS-virtualization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Able to understand business needs and convey technical requirements to the development team.
• Able to convey technical implementations to non-technical business users.
• Able to deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
