What You'll Do :

Lead a variety of technology projects, guiding a skilled team of developers who specialize in distributed microservices and full stack systems.

Stay on top of technology trends and share your knowledge through mentorship and participation in tech communities.

Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.

Utilize various programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

4+ years of experience in software engineering (excluding internship experience).

1+ year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

7+ years of experience in one or more of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.

4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

1+ years of people management experience.

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

This role is located in McLean, VA, with a salary range of $193,400 - $220,700 or in Richmond, VA, with a salary range of $175,800 - $200,700. Candidates in different locations will be subject to respective pay ranges.
