Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 5!
When open in early 5, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.
This full-service hospital will include beds (with the ability to expand to beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a -car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking a (Full Time)
- Receives, inspects for damage, match quantities/quality to purchase order, delivers, and moves materials.
- Provides replenishment of supplies to the assigned par locations accurately and on a timely basis.
- Performs the checking of supplies that have been received to confirm the accuracy of the shipment.
- Maintains an orderly storage of supplies that meets JCAHO requirements for the storage of supplies.
- Participates in stock rotation, clean-up duties, clean sweep and physical inventory audits. Responds to inquiries about inventory items or problems in a prompt manner.

- Performs a variety of clerical tasks that may include answering the phone, filing, copying and doing data entry.

Qualifications Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license in the District of Columbia required.
- Previous experience in the distribution of medical supplies preferred.
- Prior driving delivery and/or medical transport experience preferred.
