Maintenance Coordinator

This position supports the Maintenance Manager in the daily coordination of activities in the Maintenance department. The Maintenance Planner will assist the Maintenance Manager with ordering supplies, inventory control, project management, scheduling work orders and PM's, pricing and returns on inventory items, negotiating with vendors, and purchasing non-stock items. The purpose of the Maintenance Planner position is to facilitate communication between the Operations Department and the Maintenance Department, while keeping equipment maintained without slowing down productivity. All maintenance problems must be solved taking the budget, environment, and safety into consideration.

Shift : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and / or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. • Purchasing parts / supplies.
• Negotiating with vendors, ensuring MRO compliance.
• Maintaining parts inventory and keeping parts room updated, including ordering, stocking, pricing and returns.
• Conducting monthly Rx training updates with Maintenance Technicians in order to support continuous improvement in Rx.
• Conducting monthly safety training updates with Maintenance Technicians in order to support continuous improvement in Safety.
• Scheduling online training classes for Maintenance Technicians.
• Completing tasks on time as outlined in the Reliability Excellence Matrix.
• Updating metrics and monthly site dashboard.
• Participating in monthly Business Management Review meeting; and,
• Writing SMP's and maintaining ISO related documents and forms.
• work orders and PM's, pricing and returns on inventory items, negotiating with vendors, and purchasing non-stock items.
• Working with operations on Rx goals, entering them into eAM in order to track progress and ensure timely completion of site inspections.
