DUTIES :

• Working to help BPHC become an antiracist organization by meeting or exceeding the standards set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy.
• Ensures benefits-eligible employees are enrolled in benefit programs in a timely manner including health insurance / COBRA.
• Compiles weekly data ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of annual 1095-C forms.
• Support all stages of the recruiting process including creating employee requisition forms for review and approval; posting open positions; background checks, CORIs and new hire paperwork.
• Support in drafting and preparing offer letters and new hire packages.
• Provide assistance, coordination and support for a specific set of assigned projects and initiatives across the Human Resources department.
• Prepare and manage candidate communications, including correspondence, engagement letters, welcome notices, and other essential documents in a timely manner.
• Supports onboarding processes including new hire orientation, benefits enrollment and managing the I9 process.
• Prepares benefit packets for terminated employees and disenrolls terminated employees from employer-sponsored benefits.
• Handles medical orders from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue - Child Support Enforcement.
• Processes MassHealth Preview Assistance Forms.
• Administers MBTA Pass Program, ensuring account payment, monthly order, and distribution of passes.
• Works in partnership with insurance carriers and other benefits providers to ensure smooth enrollment and accurate processing of claims and payments.
• Participates in new hire orientation presentations to ensure effective employee onboarding.
