Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership. Support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policies. Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other critical events as directed by site protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Guard
As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Guard in Tar Heel, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
