Technical Writer I

Summary : Technical Writer I to specialize in creating and maintaining product and process documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication.

Requirements :

Bachelor or Associate degree in Quality / Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Working knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, ASME, NACE, ANSI.

Preferred Skills :

Extensive experience writing work instructions.

Proficiency in documenting best practices in collaboration with production personnel and engineers.

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

Champion product and process documentation : research, write, and document procedures.

Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and technicians for accurate documentation.

Manage day-to-day tracking of product and process procedures; report progress.

Contribute to the engineering documentation process within Quality Management System guidelines.

Read, analyze, interpret engineering drawings / procedures; communicate routine correspondence effectively.

Present documented information clearly; respond to questions from managers and employees.

Additional Information :

US Citizenship required due to ITAR work regulations.

Position duration is 6 months with potential overtime (0-10 hours expected).

Start date is ASAP.

Pay Details : $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
