Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional II is an integral member of the CAPS Professional Staff. Clinicians will provide primary, secondary, and tertiary services to eligible members of the UGA community, within the CAPS scope of service. These services include group, individual, crisis interventions, outreach, and consultation. Clinicians provide mental health evaluations, formulation of conceptualization, diagnoses, treatment plans, crisis intervention, and internal / external referrals as needed for best care. Services are delivered in accordance with UHC / CAPS policies and procedures. Clinicians follow professional and organizational standards for care and documentation. All are valued team members who participate in performance improvement initiatives and are actively involved in team activities, i.e. required meetings, committees. Team members demonstrate respect for all while maintaining inclusive attitudes and appreciation of individual aspects of diversity.
