Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our machinery runs smoothly and efficiently. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various types of machinery according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Document production data and report any issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Material Handler Experience
  • Machine Setups for Production Runs
