Job Summary

We are seeking a Head of Design to lead and define the entire user experience across our core mobile and browser client products. This is a critical leadership role responsible for setting the vision for end-product design, UX concepts, and user interaction, while actively building and managing a high-performing design team. A proven background in mobile app design is mandatory, and essential expertise in AI and product design is required to translate complex technologies into seamless user experiences. We highly value candidates with a Silicon Valley background and demonstrated success in 0-to-1 product design, complemented by a strong storytelling ability. Preference will be given to local candidates who are bilingual in Mandarin and English. A portfolio is required for consideration.

Job Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of our product's visual and interaction design, ensuring a consistent overall UI / UX experience that embodies a minimalist, refined, and elegant design style.
• Build and enhance the Design System from 0 to 1, establish and enforce design standards for interface, interaction, and visuals, enabling sustainable reuse of design assets and efficient collaboration.
• Engage deeply in the full product lifecycle while also acting as a Product Manager : identify user needs, participate in product discussions, and lead the planning of product features, architecture, and interaction flows.
• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, persona development, UX research, and usability testing, continuously optimizing product design to improve user satisfaction and core competitiveness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive design implementation effectively, and take ownership of the final launch quality.
• Stay up to date with industry design trends, introducing advanced design concepts and tools to elevate the team's design capabilities and aesthetic standards.
• Contribute to team building by mentoring designers and fostering a culture of efficiency, innovation, and excellence.
