The Investor Operations team oversees :
- Investor and distribution syndicate onboarding (institutional and retail investors)
- Operational components of product launches
- Capital raise reporting
- Capital activity and communications, e.g. capital calls, dividend payments, tenders
- Shadow tracking and calculations of all investor and capital activities
- Investor performance reporting
- Tracking of all broker dealer economics / commissions
- Ad-hoc questions from internal sales team and investors
- Oversight of related service providers
Responsibilities :
Work closely with internal teams in the review and implementation of participating broker-dealer agreement and placement agent agreementsPrepare, review and manage capital expenses related to Blue Owls fundraising across all vehiclesLead the coordination and communication efforts for capital events related to Blue Owls investment vehiclesBe a subject matter expert on each of the funds mechanics, operational nuances and capital eventsExecute ad hoc projects, and oversee the dissemination of monthly and quarterly reporting for investorsSpearhead initiatives to enhance the functionality & efficiency of the team, including developing & optimizing key internal reports for scalabilityMaintain effective, mutually beneficial working relationships with custodians, transfer agents, key Wirehouse / broker dealer home offices, and third-party vendorsEffectively work within a team environment that wears multiple hats and supports many other teams, both internally & externallyLeverage team of 3-4 shared resource Vice Presidents & Associates to deliver tasks & projectsIdentify trends on certain inquiries and triage solutions with key stakeholdersLiaise with the fund accountants on related to each Blue Owls investment vehicles capital eventsManage specific Blue Owl investment vehicles closing and cash flow processReview of capital call and distribution memosPrepare / Review of internal reporting to COO, CFO and Head of Business Development on fund metrics and capital commitment schedulesLiaise with investorsManage share / stock reconciliation and proxy voting process for Blue Owls investment vehiclesLiaise with external and internal auditorsAssist with special projects and internal ad hoc requests as neededQualifications :
Bachelor degree required, 7+ years of experienceAccountable and reliableSelf-starterProficient in Microsoft Office (Focus on MS Excel & PowerPoint)Effective communicatorStrong organizational skillsAbility to multitask with extreme attention to detailExperience managing VP & Associate level employeesBDC, Real Estate & Private Funds experienceFamiliarity working with a Publicly-Traded entity (DTC, CEDE & Co., etc.)Management of asset management middle / back office functionsExperience working with Transfers Agents & Fund Administrators in the Alternatives space (DST, iCapital, State Street, Computershare, etc.)It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New Jersey based position will be $150,000 - $185,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
