With a strong foundation in oncology diagnostics and potential applications across multiple disease areas, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to lead our capital-raising efforts and secure strategic investment to fuel our next phase of growth.
Role Overview
As the Business Development Executive – Capital Raising , you will be responsible for securing investment capital from venture capital firms, private equity, family offices, healthcare-focused investors , high-net worth individuals as well as identifying and engaging strategic partners in the diagnostics, medical device, and healthcare space. You will develop and execute fundraising strategies, manage investor relations, and help position Caelum Diagnostics for rapid growth and commercialization.
This is a high-impact role for a fundraising expert with strong investor and industry networks in healthcare, diagnostics, and medical devices .
Key Responsibilities
✅ Fundraising & Capital Strategy – Develop and implement a capital-raising strategy to secure funding from VC firms, private equity, angel investors, institutional funds, and strategic partners in the healthcare sector.
✅ Investor & Strategic Partner Relations – Build and maintain relationships with potential investors and strategic partners, keeping them engaged and informed about company milestones and opportunities.
✅ Pitch Development & Execution – Create compelling investment narratives, financial models, and pitch decks to attract high-value investors and corporate partners.
✅ Deal Structuring & Negotiation – Lead investment and strategic partnership negotiations , ensuring favorable terms that align with the company’s long-term financial and operational goals.
✅ Market & Competitive Intelligence – Stay ahead of trends in diagnostics, medical devices, and biotech investments to refine fundraising and partnership strategies.
✅ Partnership Development – Identify and cultivate key strategic partnerships that can provide not just capital but also industry expertise, distribution channels, or complementary technologies.
✅ Collaboration with Leadership – Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align fundraising and partnership activities with business objectives.
