The Director of Human Resources is responsible for partnering with and providing HR services and related support to assigned business areas. The HR Director supports employee relations, talent development, performance management, compensation, compliance, and organizational design. This role serves as a trusted advisor who provides coaching and guidance to managers and employees through complex workplace issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management and prior exposure to M&A, contributing to the successful execution of organizational change and integration efforts. Although this is a primarily remote role, the candidate must live in one of the key markets : Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina or Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Partner with leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement.
• Conduct and oversee employee relations investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
• Guide and support performance management, including coaching managers on evaluations and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Utilize systems to analyze data, generate insights, and improve HR operations.
• Support talent and workforce planning to ensure employees are onboarded, resourced, trained, and developed according to company best practices, and assist in driving any necessary interventions and actions when needed.
• Design and implement talent initiatives to improve performance, engagement, development and retention for your assigned business area.
• Coach and train managers on handling employee issues to improve team performance and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Lead and manage HR projects, including process improvements and organizational change initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, leader alignment, and successful outcomes.
