Overview

As a Civil / Site Engineering Designer II, youll play a vital role in shaping the future of communities through innovative land development projects. From site feasibility studies and conceptual planning to detailed grading, drainage design, stormwater management, and regulatory compliance, youll be at the forefront of creating functional, sustainable, and inspiring spaces. Youll use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other cutting-edge tools while collaborating with a talented team to deliver projects on time, on budget, and above expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks, such as conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs associated with civil engineering construction projects.
• Prepare stormwater management calculations including developing basin routings, channel design, and inlet capacity calculations.
• Generate pipe profiles and review stormwater designs based on project constraints.
• Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions to peers and management.
• Produce construction drawings, plans, and cost estimates.
• Prepare PADEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits, including : NPDES permits, General Permits, and other technical aspects of the regulatory permitting process.
• Develop Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plan sets and reports.
• Conform to the companys standard AutoCAD procedures for layering, details, etc.
• Provide technical support to more senior staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
