Senior Tax Accountant

Location : Broken Arrow, OK

Hours :

M-F 8a-5p, some Saturdays, NO Sundays

Pay :

$65K (DIRECT HIRE) + Commission

Job Summary :

A Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and filing tax documents for individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax savings and financial optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns (individual and corporate).
• Analyze financial statements and ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Maintain and update the companys tax database.
• Identify legal tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues and errors.
• Coordinate and support tax audits.
• Advise management on tax implications of business decisions.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and industry trends.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision schedules and reports.
