As an accounts payable clerk, you will be assisting the Bookkeeper / Office Manager with the general ledger accounts for Accounts Payable.
Required to work closely with the Purchasing Agent. Will match purchase orders and packing slips with the invoices that need to be paid.
Any other general tasks that are expected to be handled in a timely manner to help the office work to flow efficiently.Responsible to pay by invoice in a timely mannerInvoices need to be entered and posted to the correct general ledger accountsInvoices must be entered accurately and checked before posting the batchResearch vendor credit memos before entry and apply appropriatelyResponsible for maintaining the Accounts Payable files, pending, and paid invoicesAnswering phones in coordination with receptionist during absences, breaks, and general needsFill in for receptionist when neededRequired Qualifications : Strong MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) skillsGeneral accounting software knowledgeCustomer service experiencedAPPLY NOW by applying directly to this post, calling Kiya at 540-486-5924 or emailing kiys872@kellyservices.
