Director, Warehousing and Internal Supply Chain
The Director of Warehousing and Internal Supply Chain Management will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and internal supply chain functions at the Toledo, Ohio warehouse.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations, including managing warehouse vehicles, refrigerated food storage units, storage areas dedicated to supply chain functions, and labor requirements.
- Responsible for annual operations warehouse budget development and monthly review of expenses.
- Enhance vendor relationships as they relate to supply chain management, establishment and performance to other metrics.
- Ensure adequate resources are available to support daily operations, including staffing, equipment, and technology.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards governing warehousing operations and all material characteristics such as life cycles.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant work experience and stable work history (3-5 years), with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing business strategies to align with corporate goals and driving results.
- Strong understanding and application of regulatory requirements and standards governing warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ABS Nautical Systems software desired.
