As a Business Insurance Sr. Client Manager, you will play a critical role in our team's success by providing exceptional client service and support. You will work closely with the Producer to meet and exceed production, retention, and growth goals. Your responsibilities will span the entire client life cycle, from policy changes and billing to risk management recommendations and coverage analysis. Your ability to build effective relationships with clients and carriers will be crucial in driving retention and resolving any potential issues.
Responsibilities :
1. Partner effectively with the Producer to anticipate their sales support needs.
2. Collaborate with the Producer to achieve overall production, retention, and growth goals.
3. Manage all account management responsibilities, including billing, policy changes, agency management system updates, and answering coverage questions.
4. Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, complete applications, prepare submissions, negotiate coverage and pricing, and prepare proposals.
5. Manage the full life cycle renewal process, handle cancellations, and maintain proper communication with clients and carriers.
6. Resolve accounting discrepancies and assist with policy-checking.
7. Stay updated on rates, forms, and coverage changes.
8. Execute activities relating to the public, clients, and carriers to avoid and eliminate potential errors and omissions.
Qualifications :
1. 7+ years of insurance experience in an agency or brokerage environment, focusing on middle-market clients.
2. 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance.
3. High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred. Designations are encouraged.
4. Effective negotiation skills and placement process management expertise.
5. Property & Casualty License.
6. Extensive knowledge of how insurance products are utilized and administered.
7. Extensive knowledge of markets and marketing techniques.
8. Proficiency with agency management software (Sagitta, Image Right).
